• Admission process to BA BSc B Com starts after the publication of HS Results and students seeking admission is to obtain the application form from the college office along with the copy of the Prospectus
• The admissions are made in accordance to rules of the Calcutta University Rules and Notifications.
• The minimum eligibility criteria are determined by the University of Calcutta whereas the college Admission Committee will determine the scale up criteria for admission in cases where demand for admission is high. The admission criteria will be notified in the college notice board.
• Students who are eligible for admission will fill up admission form duly approved by members of the Admission Committee and submit the same along with the necessary relevant documents.
• Eligibility does not ensure admission and Merit list will be prepared and published in the college notice board as well as college website. Second and Third list for Admission will be published in case seats remain vacant.
• Admission beyond the intake capacity is not permitted – however in emergent and exceptional cases such admission may take place if the Governing Body so directs the Teacher-in-charge.
• Admission to any of the honors courses strictly requires consent of the concerned department and any admission without the such consent is liable to be cancelled.
• No student is eligible for admission to such programmes unless he/she passes Higher Secondary Courses.
• Students from other Board than WBCHSE can also apply.
• Documents to be attached/enclosed with the Application :
  • Attested Xerox copies of the following are to be submitted and the original certificates are to be shown for verification.
  • Mark sheet of Madhyamik and H.S. examinations.
  • SC/ST/OBC certificate from the office of the S.D.O.
  • Admit card of Madhyamik examination showing date of birth.
  • One recent passport size photograph.
  • Original Migration certificate from the migrating University/Board [in case of migrating candidates.
  • Original Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended.[in case of transfer].

  • Gen Curriculum in : Bengali, Sanskrit, History, Political Sciences, Philosophy, Economics and Education.
  • Hons Curriculum in : Bengali, Sanskrit, History, Political Sciences.
• B.Sc. Course :
  • Gen Curriculum in : Physics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics.
  • Hons Curriculum in : Physics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry.
• B.Com. Course :
  • Gen Curriculum in : Commerce as per the CU Syllabus.
  • Hons Curriculum in : Accountancy (Hons) per the CU Syllabus.

Subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria a student can take admission in any of the above subjects or courses as per the subject combinations
